This handsome Victorian Country House which dates back to the late 1800's is set in 3 acres of private woodland and landscaped gardens- all of which stand within the Gwydyr Forest in Snowdonia National Park. Tan Dinas has unparalleled panoramic views over the beautiful valley of the River Llugwy and Betws y Coed - the serenity and peace interrupted only by birdsong and the nearby babbling brook. A leafy lane into the forest brings you to Tan Dinas leaving the noise and main road in the village. An unusual feature of the area is the large, level car park situated within the grounds. Featuring all modern facilities yet retaining the grace of a classical Victorian residence - Tan Dinas has been welcoming guests for Bed & Breakfast in Betws y Coed for nearly 100 years.

Tan Dinas offers a choice of 5 ensuite bedrooms to suit your taste and requirements, one of which is on the ground floor. Every room has a wonderful view of either the valley, the gardens or the woodlands. All rooms are ensuite, have a fridge with fresh milk, generous hospitality tray, sky tv with built in DVD, hairdryer, double glazing and central heating. There is a reading room with breathtaking views and a good selection of reading material. Free Wi Fi broadband internet is available throughout the house.

Bed and Breakfast in Betws y Coed, Snowdonia is about much more than just the rooms, Eileen and John, the proprietors, pride themselves on their customer service which is of the highest standard and offer home from home hospitality in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. A Visitors Book open to inspection, bears testament not only to this but to the delicious breakfast, cooked to order, by John. Eileen takes pleasure in helping guests plan their itinerary and a good stock of maps and literature are available.

For those not looking for an adrenaline rush, the scenery is second to none - forest walks start on the doorstep - the famous Marin Trail passes the house. Castles, beaches, historic houses, slate and copper mines, narrow gauge railways, lakes and rivers are all waiting to meet you. For those who just want to unwind and chill out - Tan Dinas offers you peace, tranquillity and a seat with view.
